Boujie was rescued from a shelter after being abused. She is shy and fearful of people. If you see her, gently call her name extend your hand and turn your head away and she will come to you. Do not move towards her suddenly as it will scare her! There is a reward for her return!
Updates on the Citizen Canine site.

With the nice weather finally here, it’s time to remember how hot cars can get. On MyDogIsCool.com you can find out how hot cars get even with windows open, and they have flyers and posters you can download and print out . Our pets are too precious - it’s not cool to leave them in a hot car.
From the forum at Citizen Canine:
Steps to take:
Call the police or sheriff right away if you know your pet was stolen. They MUST take a report..do not let them refuse to take a stolen pet report.
Call your local shelters and animal control, and be sure to call any shelter or pound within a 50 mile radius. It is best to visit the shelters yourself, as many shelters are too busy to look for your dog and may miss him or her. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s everywhere and it can cause a lot of problems! Be sure to check your dog for spear grass as its running rampant right now. When your dog has been in an area where it’s growing be sure to check his armpits, tummy, ears, and especially paws for any trace of the little spears. They can burrow in & cause infections and big vet bills.
To see photos and learn more more about spear grass you can read this spear grass information sheet from Hillside Veterinary Hospital.
